MacArthur Group
d/b/a, Miramar Health
Miramar Health was growing rapidly and planning to expand. They needed to get control over the general ledger and measure the profitability of the various locations. I worked with the CFO to design a chart of accounts that facilitated the design of management reports that provided C-Suite executives with the information needed to measure and control the performance of their locations. Miramar was also in need of a Controller. I helped interview candidates and provided guidance to the team regarding whether candidates could not only do the job, but more importantly whether they were a good fit for the management team.
Sellati & Co
Sellati was a family-owned business that was being positioned for sale. I helped clean up the general ledger and prepared normalization entries for the company’s financial statements. I met with the client and the business broker to ensure that the entries I made were appropriate and accurate. As a result, the client sold the business for more than they had anticipated.
Fairwinds Credit Union
Fairwinds Credit Union needed help with their customer service function. We reviewed the frequency of customer contacts, whether via phone calls or by accessing the company’s website. We were able to suggest a number of ways for the client to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs of their customer service operations..
PepsiCo
One of the distribution centers for PepsiCo needed help with inventory management. We analyzed the movement of inventory through the system and made several recommendations that reduced the number of times inventory was handled and the frequency with which inventory was returned by the customer, resulting in significant savings.
Tijuana Flats
Tijuana Flats is a Tex-Mex restaurant chain located in Central Florida. We recommended several changes to the employee portal that improved employee engagement by providing employees with more opportunities for recognition, engagement, and communication between employees.
